Home and About
The home page is the one-screen version of the firm: who handles your case, how a case is worked, what has been recovered by case type and the newest reviews. If you have thirty seconds, it tells you whether you are in the right place. It links to every practice area below, and the phone number is in the header of every page.
About our firm explains why the firm is built around one attorney and one paralegal and case manager, and what that means for you week to week. The bios for Emmanuel Miller and Jill Miller sit under it. Read these when you are choosing between firms and want to know who actually picks up the phone, and who keeps the file moving between calls.
Practice areas
Under personal injury, each page covers one way people get hurt and what an Oregon claim for it involves. On the road: car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian crashes, with pages for drunk, distracted and rideshare drivers, buses, boats and trains. Each page ends with the questions people most often ask about that kind of case.
Off the road: premises liability for injuries on someone else’s property, including slip and fall, dog bites and negligent security; defective products; construction sites; and the catastrophic injury group, which covers brain, spinal cord, amputation and burn injuries. Wrongful death has its own page for families, with the deadline that applies and what the claim can include for the family.
Redmond, the towns and all of Oregon
Redmond has its own set of pages, one per case type, because so many clients come from there and US-97 and Redmond streets differ from Bend’s. Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville and Madras each have a page on the local roads, the county court that would hear the case and how meetings work an hour from Bend. The locations page gathers Central Oregon in one place; Oregon personal injury lawyer is for people outside the region and for attorneys referring a serious-injury case that will be tried.
Case results and client reviews
Case results shows what the firm has recovered, grouped by case type rather than listed case by case, with a plain explanation of settlements, judgments and policy-limits recoveries. Use it to see where the firm’s work has been concentrated, not to price your own claim; the page explains why that does not work, and each category links to its practice page.
Client reviews are loaded from Google with the reviewer’s name and photo, so you can check them yourself, and the page explains how they are collected and how to leave one. Read it for what past clients say about communication and preparation. Reviews written under the firm’s former name are shown as written; they describe the same attorney and the same office.
The blog, its categories and the FAQs
The blog explains Oregon injury law in plain language, one question per post: what to do after a crash, how fault is split, how insurers negotiate, what a truck or rideshare claim involves. Posts are filed under four categories, car accident, insurance claim, personal injury and wrongful death, and the blog page says which posts to start with for your situation.
The FAQs page holds the twelve questions asked on nearly every first call, on fees, deadlines, insurance calls, medical bills and what happens next, with a short guide by topic ahead of the answers. It is the fastest read on the site if you have just been hurt and want to know where you stand before you call, or while you wait for us to call back.
Contact and privacy
Contact is the free consultation page: the phone number, the form, the office address and map, and a walk-through of what happens after you call, what to have ready and what not to do before you do. Use it when you are ready to talk, or when it is late and you would rather write it down first and have us call you.
The privacy policy explains what this website collects, what the firm does with what you send through the form and how to ask about or remove your information. This site map lists every public page; if a link you followed from elsewhere no longer works, the page has moved, and a call to 541-948-8830 will get you to the right one.
Shortcuts by question
Worried about a deadline: the FAQs page sets out the two-year rule, the three-year wrongful death rule and the 180-day notice for public bodies, and the practice page for your case type repeats the one that applies. Holding an insurer’s offer: the insurance claim category on the blog explains why the first number is low and what a release ends.
If you arrived from a search result or a bookmark that points to a page that no longer exists, the closest current page is usually the practice area or town named in the old address; old addresses are redirected to their current pages where one exists. Anything you cannot find, ask for by phone. It is faster than a second search, and you get the answer to the question behind it.
Frequently asked questions
What is on this site map?
Every page of the Precision Litigation Northwest site: the practice areas we handle in Bend, the Central Oregon service-area pages for Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville and Madras, the attorney and staff bios, case results, client reviews, the FAQ page and the blog. If a page you are looking for is not here, it may have moved; call and we will point you to it.
Where should I start if I was just hurt?
Start with the page for what happened to you, such as car crashes or falls, then the Personal Injury FAQs, which answer the first-week questions about fees, deadlines and insurance calls. If you would rather not read, call 541-948-8830; the free consultation covers the same ground in plain language with the attorney who would handle your case.
How do I reach the firm?
Phone: 541-948-8830. Office: 745 NW Mount Washington Drive, Suite 300, Bend, OR 97703, ten minutes from the Deschutes County Circuit Court. Or send a message through the contact page and we will call you back. The consultation is free, and there is no fee until you win.
