Who sends these messages
Text messages under these terms are sent by Precision Litigation Northwest, a personal injury law firm at 745 NW Mt. Washington Drive, Suite 300, Bend, Oregon 97703, from the firm’s business line. A text from us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship; that happens only when the firm agrees to take your case and you sign a fee agreement.
How you agree to receive texts
We text you only after you have hired the firm and agreed to it. The only way to agree is through the fee agreement: when you retain Precision Litigation Northwest, the agreement you sign includes your consent to receive text messages about your case, and we confirm that consent with you by phone before the first text. There is no sign-up on this website and we do not text people who have not hired the firm. Agreeing is optional and is not a condition of hiring us; if you would rather we call or email, tell us and we will.
What we text about
Texts are about your case only:
- Appointment, deposition and court-date confirmations
- Requests for documents and signatures
- Updates on the status of your case
- Scheduling with your attorney and with vendors working on your case, such as court reporters and records providers
We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Text messages are not a secure channel, so please keep medical and other sensitive details for a phone call.
How often
Message frequency varies, typically up to 5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. After you reply STOP, you will receive one text confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no further texts. To start again, reply START or ask the firm. You can also opt out by calling 541-948-8830 or emailing info@precisionlit.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
